A friend of mine spotted a wounded bird on the yard while we were hanging out at another friend’s house after work. The bird hopped when it got approached by us. It kept hopping when we’d expect it to fly away. We tried to give it water.

On December 9, 2023, I saw a friend of mine who I play tennis with, Soetjipto Verkuijl, and he helped me identify the bird as a Pale-breasted Thrush.
